Hawaii Whale Sightenings

By travelanswerman | October 3, 2012

Can you believe more than 3,000 plus Humpback Whales visit Hawaii each year to mate and give birth. They usually can be seen in the waters between Lanai, Molokai and Maui from late November through March. You can take advantage of their seasonal appearance by taking a whale sightseeing cruise that are offered daily from Maui.

On a typical cruise, you might see a Humpback waving its huge oar-like fin above the water.  If you are real fortunate, these large, peaceful creatures might even gently bump your boat and even swim under it! If cruising on the South Pacific is not in your budget, you might be fortunate enough to see the whales playing while you stand on the beach, especially in the Kaanapali resort community and Wailea resort area. The experience will last a lifetime! Aloha!
