Cancun Mexico and Winter Vacation

By travelanswerman | November 29, 2009

It’s almost winter time and I’ll bet you are looking for a place to escape that is significantly warmer than where you are currently.

Have your friends suggested going to beautiful Cancun, Mexico? You can expect daily high temperatures to peak from 75 to 85 degrees F. The good news is that’s just the beginning of the story.

Cancun is located geographically at the western edge of the Gulf of Mexico and on the eastern side of the Yucatan in Mexico. It is widely known for it’s spectacular white sand beaches, warm, dry, sunny weather, endless activities, great restaurants, and friendly smiling locals.

Of course, you can relax on the beach all day and get a great start on that sun tan. But if one wants more to do you might consider some of the following: snorkeling, deep sea fishing, swimming, riding horses on the beach, sightseeing, world class golf, tennis, pampering in one of the many spas, or taking in the spectacular Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Kabah, Xlapak and Tulum.

Due to Cancun’s popularity, air transportation is readily available on a daily basis from most major cities in North America.

Note: All USA citizens now require a valid Passport when entering Mexico.

See you on the beach soon!
