And on a much smaller scale, may I tip my hat to the Saturday Market in Loule, Algarve, Portugal.  Filled with fresh produce, meats, fish, wine, cheese, flowers and breads a Saturday visit to Loule has become a ritual whenever I visit the Algarve.  The farmers who bring in their produce are a delight even if you don&#039;t know any Portuguese.

Arrive early before the tour buses get there.  Buy stuff for lunch and head home because everyone shuts down at 1:00 and the Algarve goes home for a nice long Saturday afternoon nap!
